Sigh.
I'd like to be excited about the election, but as big a step forward as Obama's election was, the passing of Prop 8 was as big a step backward. I just don't get it--it's so *mean*. It can't possibly affect you in any way if two women want to get married. Ugh.

It will yet take time before the power of love overcomes the love of power. We will love and support our brothers and sisters to love whomever they choose, and keep pushing to have them recognized as the citizens they have always been.
